Iran actress Baran Kosari becomes futsal player

Iran actress Baran Kosari plays the role of famed female futsal player on Iranian women’s national futsal team.

A front-page photo of Iran-based Cinema Magazine published Wednesday showed Kosari in ‘Cold Sweat’ directed by Soheil Beiraqi, playing the role of futsal player Niloufar Ardalan.

The  futsal player is also the Iranian national team’s captain and has become one of the famous female athletes in Iran.   

With the film’s cinematography drawing to a close a few months back, ‘Cold Sweat’ is now at the editing stage.      

A report says Kosari had to slim down quite a few pounds for her role, performing painstaking physical and technical exercises prevalent in futsal.
